| Indian River State College has been awarded by Workforce Florida, Inc., the management of the Banner Center for Energy: Florida’s industry-driven resource for energy workforce education and training. |
Through its many partnerships, and through direct input from industrial partners, the Employ Florida Banner Center for Energy is able to develop and coordinate customized educational and training resources in order to grow the competitiveness of Florida’s energy industry. Our goals are to:
1. Cultivate long-term partnerships to strengthen education and opportunities for schools throughout the state.
2. Work closely with industry partners to develop customized training to meet the needs of the energy industry.
3. Offer courses, in conjunction with our educational partners, which provide real-world skills needed to elevate career opportunities to the next level in the high-growth energy industry. |
